In 2014, the membership identified the need to expand peer exchange and networking opportunities beyond the chief executive. As a result, HPC established a CFO Working Group for member organizations.
The CFO Group of HPC meets four times a year to share current and explore new business practices and approaches. Two of these meetings are held face to face; one in the West and one in Ontario. Wherever possible these face to face meetings are scheduled to coincide with other sector events. These two face to face meetings are proving to be an effective way for the CFOs of the member organizations to network, share resources and exchange knowledge.
