About the Leadership Exchange

The International Housing Partnership Leadership Exchange is a unique international gathering of senior housing executives committed to advancing housing solutions in their respective countries.

The Exchange provides a forum for:

Peer-to-peer learning among global housing leaders
Strategic discussion on shared housing challenges
Exploration of innovative policy, financing, and service delivery approaches
Strengthening international relationships and collaboration

2026 Format

In response to participant feedback and the rapidly evolving global housing landscape, the 2026 Exchange will feature a collaborative, participant-driven format.

The program will combine:

Facilitated open space discussions
Short, ignite-style talks designed to spark dialogue
Site visits highlighting innovative housing models
Structured networking opportunities

This format allows participants to focus on the issues that matter most at the time of the event, while grounding discussions in real-world examples from Montreal and beyond.

Venue & Accommodations: Hotel Omni Mont-Royal

Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal offers convenient access to cultural landmarks, restaurants, and historic Old Montreal. The hotel will serve as both the main venue and primary accommodation site for the Leadership Exchange.

While the reservation cut-off is August 24, 2026 we encourage attendees to save the dates and book travel early, as the UCI Road World Championships will be taking place in Montreal at the same time and rooms may sell out.

Event App

To enhance the delegate experience and reduce paper usage, Housing Partnership Canada will be procuring a dedicated event app for the 2026 Leadership Exchange.
